Village Hall

Information about the Village Hall

The Village Hall is a thriving hub of activity.  Founded in 1933 and managed by a not-for-profit trust, it is located in Fairy Cross close to the A39.  It is available for hire, principally but not exclusively, by those who live within the parish of Alwington.

Village Hall Booking Charges

The facilities include: the main hall; a committee room; skittle alley; fitted kitchen; toilets (including disabled); and parking.  A defibrillator is fitted to the exterior.

Regular activities include: yoga (several times a week); ballroom and sequence dancing; short mat bowling; ballroom and sequence dancing; skittles; band practice; and singing/ choir practice for fun.

The hall hosts several key events each year including hearty breakfasts; quiz nights; and the annual horticultural show.
