A message from Ellie Johns
I am going to Peru in October half term with a charity called Edukid, a charity which supports children’s access to education. By going on this trip it will allow me to learn directly about global issues like poverty.

I will have the opportunity to volunteer in local communities and will get to see how education can change lives. For my fundraising I have a Justgiving page called “Ellie Johns’s trip to Peru 2026” and I have also just recently had a quiz. The quiz was very successful with around 50 people participating and at the end of the night we worked out that I had raised £1000 which has massively helped my fundraising. A big Thank you to Chris who created the quiz questions and delivered the quiz for me. Also thank you to everybody in the community who helped make the quiz possible. I hope to bring back some photos and the opportunities I will have in Peru to show off my trip.
